The Maritime consists of 197 units of housing, 61 condominiums in one building and 136 apartments in two buildings with 40,000 square feet of mixed-use commercial space and an affordable housing component. Construction started in the summer 2005 and sales of condominiums commenced in the fall of 2005. Amenities include a gym, a community room and underground parking. A public plaza and restaurant with outdoor seating are part of the project. City involvement includes conveyance of the land, infrastructure and roadway improvements, and site remediation.

Development costs are estimated at $60 million.
